This grand Castlemore estate received a full smart home installation, integrating security, climate, lighting and access control across one of our most feature-rich residential projects.

Security & Cameras

Over nine cameras cover every corner of the property — from the circular driveway and backyard pool to the garage and perimeter fencing — all viewable from a multiple wall-mounted tablet running dashboards catered to the space.

Access Control

Smart locks secure the front door, garage interior and garage exterior. Four individual garage doors are independently controlled through the dashboard alongside a full alarm system with occupancy sensors on every major floor and bedroom.

Custom Gate Controller

The estate’s existing FAAC gate was integrated into the smart home system through a custom-built controller, designed and 3D-printed in-house by Automation Toronto. The enclosure houses a WiFi relay board paired with the gate’s original remote, giving full app and dashboard control over the gate without replacing the existing hardware.

Climate

Four independently controlled climate zones span the main floor, master bedroom, east bedroom and second floor, with humidity monitoring throughout. Each zone is accessible from the dashboard or remotely.

Installation

Smart dimmers and switches were retrofitted throughout the home, with structured cabling run to every zone during the installation phase.
