This contemporary Humber Summit new build was wired from the ground up, with Automation Toronto embedded in the project from the framing stage. The result is a fully integrated smart home with zero visible cabling.

With access to open framing, extensive runs of CAT6, coax and speaker wire were pulled to every room before the walls went up. Every cable was hand-terminated and punched down to a central patch panel in the equipment rack.

The double-height foyer features a dramatic ring chandelier with skylights above, all on smart dimmers. LED stair lighting runs the full length of the glass-railed staircase, with a marble accent wall behind.

Multiple entertainment zones span the home. The main living area centres on a marble feature wall with a large TV over a linear smart fireplace. Upstairs, a second smart fireplace sits within a walnut feature wall with LED backlighting and a wall-mounted TV. In-ceiling speakers are distributed throughout.

Exterior turret cameras cover the perimeter, and a wall-mounted tablet provides central control of lighting, audio, cameras and climate from a single dashboard.
